About Me
.Hi, I’m Sara! Postpartum doula, licensed massage therapist, and the hands and heart behind Ebb & Flow Bodywork, my home-based practice in Southampton.
I am deeply passionate about supporting women through one of life’s most tender and transformative seasons: the transition into motherhood.
My work is rooted in the belief that postpartum care deserves the same level of support and intention as pregnancy and birth. With a background in birth support, therapeutic bodywork, nanny care, and hands-on infant care, I bring a nurturing, intuitive, and practical approach to helping you settle into this new chapter.
⸻
How I Care for You
I provide both emotional and practical support, meeting you where you are and helping with what is needed most in the moment.
This may include:
• newborn and infant care so you can rest, shower, eat, or sleep
• feeding and bonding support
• emotional support and space to process your transition into motherhood
• light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, tidying, and organizing
• washing bottles and pump parts
• help maintaining a calm, supportive home environment
• hands-on support with soothing, holding, and caring for baby
I bring extensive experience caring for infants and understand how deeply connected baby’s well-being is to how supported the mother feels.
⸻
My Approach
My approach is intuitive, trauma-informed, and mother-centered. Some days support may look like talking through how you’re feeling. Other days it may look like taking over the laundry, tending to baby so you can sleep, or helping restore a sense of order in your home. I also integrate gentle body-based practices and education when supportive, including:
• guided breath-work
• gentle movement and recovery exercises
• posture and body awareness
• self, partner, and infant massage guidance
• practical education for soothing and supporting baby
My goal is to support not only your healing, but the overall rhythm and ease of your home.
⸻
Best Fit For
am a wonderful fit for mothers who are looking for:
• experienced infant care
• practical household support
• nurturing postpartum care
• emotional and nervous system support
• guidance around baby soothing and bonding
• a calm, supportive presence during the early weeks and months
⸻

A Note From Me
Postpartum asks something different of you each day — sometimes each hour, sometimes each minute.
What you need today may be completely different from what you needed yesterday, and that is okay.
My role is to meet you exactly where you are in that moment.
Whether that looks like holding space for how you’re feeling, taking the trash out, folding the never-ending laundry, washing bottles, or caring for baby so you can finally rest, I am here to be a supportive place for you to lean on.
You do not have to do this alone.
With gratitude,
Sara
